Which is more rude? Calling someone Perverted or being perverted?

I don't get it. I think it's rude to be a perv, but I think it's also rude to call someone perverted. On a game, the word perverted was censored

I would rather be CALLED a pervert then actually BE one. I dont think its all that rude, as i find its used in a jokey way very often these days. For example when your friend says "Its too hard!" you might say "You perv" in a less serious accusational tone.
