Hungry for something but have no real idea what you want to eat. Has this ever occur to you? I have had this happen to me several times, you know, that feeling of desire to eat something yet you don't know what your taste buds are actually craving for. There was even a time I went to many different barbecue places and sidewalk food stalls buying and tasting each just so I could satisfy the craving, and in the end I got stuffed but still haven't found what could satisfy me. What do you think causes this?

I often get a "sugar hunger", and I just need a piece of a chocolate cake... I don't think it does have quite much any other effect than making my theeth a little bit worse, because I do sports regularly...
If I have just an ordinary hunger, then anything goes :D

I am always experiencing that, always. Especially when I have nothing to do, my mind just thinks so many food and I feel like I just want to eat something but I don't know what it is.

I really hate this. I hate being hungry and constantly going to the fridge or cabinents trying to find something to eat. I do it all the time and each time I leave a little more frustrated because nothing that I want seems to look good enough for me to eat. It's quite frustrating.

Hi, choybel. I have been in this situation many of times before. And when I get like this, I will stop and think and I will try to figure out what I really want to eat. I think eating the same food constantly can make you undecided on what you may want to eat. I think that this has something to do with why a person cannot decide on what they want to eat.

I know the feeling well and for me I think it is a matter of boredom. When I have nothing better to do all I can think about is my stomach and I always fancy something really lovely to eat but I have no idea what. I go searching through the cupboards and the fridge but nothing is right. In these cases I usually end up making myself a sandwich or having a glass of milk. I have never gone out to try an satisfy my want for food.

There are times when I have a really bad case of the nibbles, when I think that I want something to eat, but I don't know exactly what or how much. Snacking is bad for me at the best of times, so just nibbling on biscuits doesn't help. I do get food cravings sometimes, usually for something like ice cream, but again it's not good for me to eat too much. I sometimes wonder if it's boredom that gives me those cravings.

Hahaha.. Yeah, this has happened to me a lot. I believe that when it happens to me, it's either my mind is in diet mode, or I'm not in the right place to choose food. I read in an article in Cosmopolitan that if you keep eating and eating, and still feel hungry it means that your body hasn't reached its 'nutrient quota'. Then you'll have to keep eating until your body reaches that. I think that might be one of the reasons triggering your brain to still be 'hungry' even if you're already stuffed.

I've been on a diet for so long that I am always craving something good...I usually try to satisfy it with a small cheat, like some candy or something, rather than what I know I really want (usually taco bell or pizza!)...going with my favorite food and a mountain dew will usually satisfy any kind of food craving.
