Six hours on tarmac, passenger told "shut the hell up"
cbsnews.com — Passengers on a Virgin America flight from Los Angeles to New York spent more than six hours stranded on a tarmac, received little food or water, and had to take the last leg of their journey by bus - arriving some 14 hours after they departed. A flight attended roared, "You are really getting on my freaking nerves! You need to shut the he** up!"

Rude indeed, but very funny! lol!
I've worked the customer service field for years and yes people can work your last nerve. But...I have never lost my poise/professionalism no matter how many times I have grit my teeth and smile.

I've never flown anywhere and never intend to so I know it doesn't mean much coming from me. But, geez that was just darn right horribly rude to say. That woman probably will (or at least should) be in the very least reprimanded for telling paying customers that.
If I ever DID fly, I hope that woman wouldn't be on my flight! No employee should talk to customers like that given the circumstances.
