hey gcarmen,
your English is not as bad as you think, many Chinese people have not mastered English skills mainly because they don't attend some communities where they can communicate with each other in English. Now you are in Mylot, which is an excellent platform for you to train and improve your language. I am sure that your English will get better everyday as long as you persist in practice.

Your advice is very correct.many chinese people study English,but they haven't get a place where they can communicate with each other in English.I'm very glat to sign up myLot,there are some people,I can communicate with them to practice and improve my English everyday.

Well, first, your English isn't as bad as you think. :)
In my opinion, the best way to learn English is to maximize your vocabulary. You probably know lots of the basic rules of English - I before E except after C, and things like that. The thing is, with English, there's lots of exceptions to just about every rule - and the only way to learn English fully is to learn not only the basic rules, but also the exceptions.
