Friends,
Had just imagined if we have 32 hours in a day, how would I divide it for different activities.
Would allot as follows
Sleeping - 16 hours - its very important to manage rest of 16 hours healthy.
Office-Working - 8 hours - sorry am bit selfish in this, doesn´t like to work more.
With family/kids - 5 hours
Mylot - 2 hours :-)
Still I have 1 hour to spare and would like to add that to sleeping :-)
How about your choice of split, would be interesting to know!!!
Its just a crazy thought and no negatives thought as of now!!! Would there be any!!

I think if i'd be given 32 hours each day,....
7hours-- sleeping*, I believe that we are ought to do more things. You can do a lot sleeping when you die...
8 hours--mylotting and other internet online making sites....
6-9 hours doing my off line job...
10---- hours for my family and going out and having fun..
I still have a spare of 11 hours... I think I'd divide it
with
5- hours doing household chores(which is impossible, am to lazy)
and
3 hours spend on mylot and other money making sites...
Hhahahaa...

Hahaha, I sometimes think of the same thing. I sometimes feel that the hours of the day isn't enough for all the activities I like. I just wish that if we had 32 hours a day, we had the body that would last that long. Hmm...let me see. Mine would be:
10 hours - alloted for sleep and naps
8 hours - work
5 hours - family and friends
3 hours - important stuff like settle bills, bank accounts, process important documents like birth certificates and social security, and the like.
5 hours - recreation and time for oneself
1 hour - spare: for anything or to be added to the any of the above activities
That would sure be fun!

yes its crazy to have 32 hours a day. 24 hours is already tough. sure is. nowadays the world never sleeps as its globalisation. you work here and its night in the other part of the world. you want to go home as its dark or night time in your country. but no you cannot go back, there is teleconferencing in the other part of the world where its day time and you have to participate. to me, its enough to have 24 hours and no more. 32 hours is a long haul and its just no good for our body which is build for 24 hour day. a maximun of 8 hours of sleep for the body to repair and recuperate, 8 to 10 hours or slightly more as the world working life is like a pressure cooker and the rest for families, friends, shopping, eating , private times with God, and the likes. i wont be sold on a 32 hours a day and this is my 2 cents worth of my opinion. have a pleasant day ahead.

Thirty two hours in a day would be something that would be fabulous. I think I would spend about as much time as normal sleeping. Maybe an hour or so more but that is about that. I would have more time for hobbies as well, instead of work or school. That would be a good thing for me. Of course, I might be spending a lot of time trying to do a few more things in the day.
Of course, there is the problem that a thirty two hour day will eventually not have enough time, once I get used to managing my time that day. In other words, it would have the same problems as the normal day. I would be wishing I would have a forty hour day before too long. Of course, that is the the problem with anything. No matter how long the day is, there will never be enough time.

Well, if its reality things will change accordingly and people will have calender defined accordingly and also people working multiple jobs will be possible.
What not and many many different things could happen...
Cheers to your thoughts!

I wouldn't sleep for 16 hours. You just can't sleep that long. Even if you can, that'll make you a sloth (no offense!)!
12 hours of sleep
9 hours of school
6 hours of homework (or 3 hours of homework and 3 hours of reading)
2 hours of gaming (!!!)
3 hours of TV or fun with my friends and family
enterprise, that's a really nice idea. Such a though has never entered my mind. It's not crazy, it's brilliant!

Ok, well balanced plan!
I use to think crazy things like this often, what about public or government transport between planets that runs on regular intervals and we can book our tickets in advance for the space ship :-( I know am crazy!

I would allot it as such
8 hours for sleep
8 hours for mylot
8 hours for spending with my husband
8 hours for work and games
It'd be simple, this is without allotting for meals of course I would!

Nice and simple.
Still have not thought of how many times a day would be given fuel to the body, I mean food.
Breakfast, Lunch, Lunch again and Dinner!

16 hours is waaay too much sleep. Even if I don't get sleep for 36 hours+, the most I can ever sleep in one sitting is 12-14 hours. That likely wouldn't change for me in a 32-hour day. I'd likely partition it up like this:
8-14 hours sleeping
6 hours of school/work
2-5 hours with family
And the rest I'd spend on the computer or whatever is left.
I once saw a XKCD comic about longer days, where you'd stay up for 20 hours and still sleep for eight hours. You'd end up falling asleep at different times each day of course, but I think it would work out very well. I'm planning to do such a thing if I ever don't have school nor a job in my life.
