Lately, I've been wondering what makes a person a good conversation starter. The only thing I have so far is to talk about more about the other person rather than yourself. e.g. "What do you want to watch?"

A good conversationalish must have a gentle approach, proper and decent looks, an acceptable topic, cheerful personality with a never-dying healthy smile and many other qualities... The key is to focus upon the other person and act accordingly... have fun!

There's nothing to be worried about emailing, as long as you don't sound like a creeper or stalker. Just tell me how well you know her and I'll tell you how to start it off. :D

To strike a conversation, just say something about the weather, about current affairs; and anything about the surroundings. To stretch the conversation further, just goad to person to say something about him. The other person would end up praising you that he really enjoyed your company; and he is looking forward to meet you again.
