i love a girl. she is my friend form high school and i have showen my love to her.however she said she would never need a boyfriend.what a strange girl^ i have no idea about girls' thinking mode. such a feeling in chinese is "??" what's her mean? A.her doesn't like me because she was falling in love with other boy.i have to surrender. B.she just makes a test for my patience and epressement. C.she really never needs a boy. D.she is a man.

I assume that her heart has been so seriously broken by a handsome guy once that she hates all men. Another guess is that she likes women, just she has not realized yet.

The meaning can really change from person to person. usually when a woman says she doesn't need a boyfriend it means that she doesn't want to have to rely on someone else. She wants to be her own independent person and not be in a relationship at that time because she wants to focus on some aspect of herself (her career, high school, college, etc). Or it could mean that she's not ready for a relationship yet and isn't ready to date someone. I wouldn't give up totally if I were you, but do give her a little space and give her time to want to date someone. I had the biggest crush on this guy in my high school. I liked him on and off for years, but whenever one of our friends mentioned it to him he just said he didn't want to ruin our friendship by dating, which I thought was a cop-out answer. I finally decided to ask him out the beginning of our senior year and he agreed. We started dating November 11, 2007 and were married July 11, 2009. So don't give up if you really do care about her because anything can happen, but also accept that she really might not be interested. Give her a little room and some time to decide what she really wants. That's what I did and it worked out ok for me. ^_^
