Well no one knows how Cataclysm will affect wow. Some say it's gonna be positive, but some say that they are going to stop playing just because of it...

But my heart just got broken when I heard that they are going to destroy Azeroth, the place where I hang out with my friends and where I spent hours and hours of my life...
But they are making new life also
But one of the worst things is that they made a Tauren paladin possible... A holy cow??? WTF??? That just doesn't fit...

since last year, i have expected for WoW to end it's very successful reign as the MMO king. WoW have just had expansions and countless updates and new characters.. basically i think it is a little too messy right now. and yes the jerks ruin the game too.
but the main reason why i think WoW only have a few years left is because the game has been around for too long. the engine can be upgraded, everything can be rewritten to be a lot better, and the graphics significantly improved, with new models and far more awesome looks for the game.
but maybe there is no good enough rival released to compete against wow.

Honestly I think that wow is going down the tubes for more hardcore gamers who like a challenge. It is getting way too easy to play. I mean i can level a character from 1-80 in like 3 weeks at the most. Then add 4 more days to that and boom I am geared for the newest end-game raid. I miss the good old days where people had to work for their gear and people actually had patients. Not to mention that these changes have had an effect on the community there are a lot more people who are just jerks a lot more than there used to be.
