You all must have heard the song "Ticket to ride" by the Beatles. There is another very popular version of the same song by Karen Carpenter. Anybody knows which is the original version?

I'm not 100% sure on that but my guess would be that the Beatles were the original artists on that song. I only remember it by the Beatles. I don't recall Karen Carpenter doing it but she very well could have. I didn't listen to a lot of her music.

well, since it was WRITTEN by Lennon and McCartney, and it appeared in the movie "HELP" I can assure you that The Beatles were the first to ever play it.
