Do you feel the present life is far from you planed and your expectation

There is a famous saying:"I have a dream...", do you have any dreams when you are a child, or a few years ago? What were your plans of your life, and where are you now? I have a lot of plans of my life, but the environment changed them a lot, my present life is out of my orignal expectation. When I had a plan, I tried my best to make it become true, but when some tiny factors changed, all my life has to change, then I have to plan my changed life, and then the cycle continues. Now I almost couldn't recognize my life, it is much far from my expectation. Do you have the same feeling?

i certainly do. but im old now and realise my chance is gone. now you
you are still very young and likely have many years to change and change again. when my son was your age he was in the navy and became a medical assistant. but alas when he got out he messed up , so ended up studying electrical, then plumbimg,now he drives trucks for recycle plant, etc. hes only 45 yrs and has done all that different work
so you have time for change if you need to later. @hvedra (1619)

I'm not good at planning. I think the problem stems from not having a plan ot something to get away to only FROM.
I was just happy to be away from the rough area I grew up in and the people who populated it. Anything else is a bonus.
