What should be there in Living / Sitting/ T.V room?

What should be in a living room. All the tiles mentioned in the title are alternatives for the same meaning.
Now coming to the point, what do you think that there should be in a lining room? What kind of things should there be in living room.
What I think:
According to me there should a good long three seater, an air conditioner, a heater, a t.v of course!, a good storage place like drawers or cupboard only one to keep small things in it.. Ohh and a book shelve, a perfect living room to me.. =)

A living room should have a home theater system, a TV, Nintendo Wii, a long sofa and a one seater, a coffee and side table, TV cabinet, air-conditioner and fan, few hanged photo frames or abstract paintings, an indoor water fountain (I like the sound of water splash). That is perfect for me:)

I like a cozy sitting room as it is where I spend most of my time. I want an LCD tv screen, a set of good sound system for my collection of CDs, a seven sitter settee, a mahagony middle table, a nice centerpiece carpet, centralized aircon and crystal chandelier that will give extra lighting to the room and nice curtains. I don't want to put unnecessary cupboards or drawers in my living room as it will only take up a lot of space but a small bookshelf will do to keep my reading materials.
