I am a mother of three beautiful little girls so I obviously have some experience with being pregnant. I have been feeling pregnant for about 4 months now. I have almost every symptom of pregnancy besides the morning sickness. I have gained almost 30 pounds since November but I am still getting my menstrual period and no test has been positive. I am at the point where I even feel movement in my abdomen that feels just like fetal movement. Is it possible to be pregnant but for no test to show a positive??? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds scary. I have an acquaintance who just gave birth to a baby and didn't even know she was pregnant. I'm not sure if she was having her periods or not. She must have been for her not to know she was pregnant. She is lucky the baby is healthy because she did a lot of drinking and smoking during her pregnancy. Do you want to be pregnant? I remember seeing on tv women that want to be pregnant so bad that their mind convinces their body that it's pregnant and the body responds accordingly with weight gain etc. I think also on house once it turned out to be a tumor. I see you went to the doctor, did they do an ultrasound?

No they haven't done an ultrasound but I would like for them to do one it would help make sense of all of this. No I don't want to be pregnant I have three daughters now and am in no situation for another and do not want one any time soon either. I wish that they would just order me an ultrasound maybe it is a tumor or even a cyst or something. I would just like to know what is going on with me.

I have been to the doctor about this issue about almost 2 months ago now and a week ago as well but they can't figure out what it is either. I have to go back to see him again next Monday so we will see what happens it's kinda scary just wondering whats going on.

I agree with that for sure but I don't believe that I am pregnant and I sure do not hope to be either that is for sure. I just wish that I knew what was going on and I hope that it isn't serious whatever it is. My doctor is trying to figure it out though so I hope I will find out soon.

I know sort of second hand of people who had periods through out their pregnancy. I have known of people who did not secrete enough hormones in their urine to pass a urine based pregnancy test, and always had to have blood tests to confirm pregnancy. I do hope that the doctor does an ultra sound to determine what is happening with you. We all want you to keep us posted as well.

I have an apointment to go and see the doctor on Monday so I am hoping that he will be able to get me an appointment to get that done then. I don't know what else to do and I would really like to know what is going on. If I am not pregnant then that is awesome but then what is wrong with me. I sure hope that my doctor figures it out soon. I feel so frustrated about this whole situation

Have you consulted an Ob Gyn about your condition? I think it is necessary that you have yourself checked by them because having a regular periods means you are not really pregnant but since you are feeling the symptoms of being pregnant there is something happening inside of you that makes you think you are pregnant.
