Reality of reality shows....Are they really scripted???

Last weekend,a very popular indian music reality show called music ka maha muqabla concluded on star plus.......but as usual,the deserving candidates were not made the winner and the audience votes were disrespected and not considered...So what do you think,are reality shows really scripted???Is there an overdose of Reality shows in India........ranging from dance,music to weird concepts like marriage in national tv(rakhi ka swayamvar),etc.
What do you all think???Do let me know :)

Yes I do agree with you. Sometimes I feel that it is no good even seeing these shows and I do not get emotionally attached. That way whoever wins I do not really care.
Rakhi ka swayamvar as well as Rahul dulhaniya le jayega I am very sure were scipted and I hope that Rahul's marriage at least lasts as Rakhi has already broken off the engagement.
