Sometimes can be true especially for those people that have not the watch myth in their ideas!!
Peronally i did not use to wear watches often and so now that normally i have my mobile phones with me the majority of times i will watch time directly on my phone and not on the watch as well!!

I only have a very basic mobile phone, I only need something to make and receive calls, so it's unlikely I would be using my phone to replace my watch. I have always worn a wrist watch and like to know that I can tell the time anytime.

Yeah, i do agreed that. Since i am using my cell phone to see the time, i had started to forgot wear my watch whenever i am out from my home. I feel it's more convenient to bring my cell phone around, since i can make and receive call from those who wanted to talk with me. Besides that, i can easily refer to my cell phone for the time. It's real that, since the cell phone can provide accurate time like our watch, i seldom want to wear watch anymore.

Yes. Very good point and discussion topic actually.
Not only do I feel that cell phones have replaced watches, but I feel that cell phones will and are already replacing computers.
With the access to the internet, email, messaging, and tons of other applications for cellular phones now, you can do anything from your phone from anywhere.
This is convenient and efficient for all people and growing.
I think of cell phones as portable computers so I think they will eventually replace what most people think of as a computer.

I used to wear a watch all the time, but ever since I got a cell phone I haven't had a need for one. I always have my cell phone and since it has a clock on it I have no desire to wear a watch too. I could definitely see cell phones being the end of watches all together.
