Do you think mylot should change their website layout?

it is a good point of view but i think mylot layout is ok and inline as the activity we do here!!I don't know why but i think is compatible with mylot site too!!

Wow. I think the same. I've been also thinking about that! I want Mylot to change their layout too! I actually think this layout is so boring. LOL. but seriously, they have to change it, and yes, into something that invites more people to the website.

I can't say that current layout disturbs me. I like the upper part of the page when you visit one of the interests, like movies, sports or whatever. It shows a little picture in the upper part of the page, where you can see something related to the interest. However, I find that myLot could do with some improvements in design, but it would be also okay to leave it as it is.

Hello, Leprosa, and welcome to MyLot. I have to disagree with you on this. The main purpose of being on MyLot - at least for most of us - is to participate in the discussions. Too much colour and too much going on in the background would distract from the discussions and the responses. When you've been here a while, you'll probably agree with me, but it's nice that you're comfortable enough to put suggestions forward.

Yeah! It's a very good idea! I've known Mylot for a lot of years and the layout hasn't changed a lot. We can suggest the administrators to change it so it can be easier to start new discussion and the most important point: a better way to organice our interests!!! Thanks for sharing!

hi leprosa I always thought the latest layout of mylot was really pretty good, but its just my own opinion. too much color on some sites actually drives me bananas as it hurts your eyes and detracts from what I am trying to do on that site. Also once we start making drastic changes mylot will just be another facebook and not its unique self. I like it pretty much as it is, and thank God no chat rooms. lets leave mylot alone.

Most sites use a lot of white because it makes it easier to read. MyLot is okay. I don't know how you could improve on it. Yahoo Answers uses a little more color but not that much. I think has more to do with the graphics and tabs MyLot uses.

I guess I never really put too much thought into Mylot changing their site. I'm so use to how it has always been since I've been a member that it works just fine for me. I think it would be interesting if they switched it up a bit and maybe added more color but on the other hand it works just fine for me the way it is too!

That's what I think too. It's a bit boring and dull and doesn't really draw you in when you first see it. Something a little more modern and colourful would be good and I think the homepage can look a little cluttered sometimes what with all the sorties so that should be changed too.

good thought my friend, i really do agree with you, i think it would become a much more attractive site if it had a little color in it, if we could set our background and sub colors on our wishes that would be really great.
