Scam companies trolling via Monster.com

Yuck. Isn't it annoying to post your resume on Monster and then have the phony, pyramid scheme companies come knocking on your email inbox almost instantly?
I just got one from American Income Life Insurance and since it was unsolicited and NOT a company I applied for (nevermind from a category I am not pursuing) I googled them and all sorts of scam info came up about them. In fact I vaguely remember them harassing me last time I was job hunting.
At least Monster.com has been taking steps to remove repeat postings and invalid content from their site in order to make it easier to navigate the legitimate job postings.

I do hate those annoying emails from scammers. I used to get them all the time with Monster.com and other companies like HotJobs they do the same thing. Its like, ok I'm not trying to fall for your scam, I am actually looking for a job. It is good though that Monster.com notices those jobs that are always posting and deletes them. Because seriously jobs like those are a waste of time for people who are trying to find actual jobs.

I've stopped posting resumes online for that reason. It's really annoying and you don't know which companies are legit. When I look for a job I go through craigslist or something, find a company and do research on it to make sure it's legit, and then send in my resume. Feels more safe that way.

That's also really annoys me. I have posted my resume at Monster too and to my horror, I've received bunch of spam mails populating my inbox. The least you can do is ignore and delete them.
Thank God, monster is taking proper action into such kind of spammer and scammer.

I've noticed that on Monster too. I also have a resume with them online, and I get emails from a few agents that I've created with the site. Once in a while, I see them trolls on my agent's list. I just ignore it.
I've also seen them on my agents on careerbuilder.com! It's a bit frustrating, and it has put a bit of hamper on my job hunting.
