Did you complete the census survey form, or simply ignore it?

I received the census survey form a week ago, but I didn't have time to get around with it. Today, I finally take 10 minutes to get it done, and send it out. Actually, it is my first time to complete the census survey form, and previous years I just ignore it. Because I was living at the dorm, and I was going out of state a lot. This year, I finally settle down with my parents, so I just do it a favor. What about your guys, do you usually ignore the census form, or you contribute your part?

Honest to say, I don't know, and I just get it done whether it is due or not. I just don't want that paper form in my table again.

My husband and I have completed the census. I let him fill it out and we mailed it in. I had heard if one does not fill it out then they will have a census person come to the house and take the information. I do not like people dropping by without calling first. There is so much fraud nowadays so I am afraid to have people come to the house.

Oddly, I actually never got one in the mail. I don't know why. So I guess I would have to say that I did not complete it yet. Maybe I'll be getting it in the mail pretty soon or something.

I think its illegal here to NOT fill it in. I didnt when I first got them but now I do. But at times, I feel like writing "none of your damn business" but of course, I dont lol.

hi! well, here in my country I have never filled a census survey form before, because they haven't made one in the last 20 years, which is really very sad, because in the news people say that there are about 7.5 million people in my country, but I think there are less than 6.5 million!

How often do they send out a census? I'm sure I would have filled it out before this but I don't remember doing it. I filled mine out as soon as it came and put it in the mail the next day. It was really easy to fill out. It only took me a few minutes. I remember a lady coming around a year or so ago and asking who lived here. I got a reminder card in the mail today to make sure I had mine sent in.

In my area we dont receive census forms. Some guy comes and takes down the details.
when we moved to a new area last time round, nobody turned up as the new area we were in was not in anybody's map(or so i think). So I am not yet listed as a human being or I an not counted or you can say I dont count on earth.
you are lucky to have census forms. Fill it and send, dont ignore it!

I got my survey for the census last week, it didn't take but a couple of minutes to fill it out and put back out in the mail the next morning. It was the first time for me to fill one out, in years past I was living with someone else and they did it. The census form isn't hard to fill out and shouldn't be ignored, not only for the states to receive funding, but every 10 years a back census is released to the public, which if you do genealogy can be very helpful and provide information about your ancestors.

I filled mine out and sent it on. I can't really remember prior censuses, but since it only comes every 10 years this is the first one I've gotten as an adult. I'm glad to get it out of the way so I don't have to worry about facing any fines or visits from census workers.

I received my census survey last week and filled it the same day and mailed it out the next morning. Census should be filled out by all so you get the right amount of money allocated for your area. Not to mention its great to have these records when and if you are looking for info of your family and ancestors.
