March and April is the time in the Philippines for Graduation from College, High School, Elementary and even Kindergaten. Students are excited to reach the final day of Schooling. I'm working as a teacher in a public high school here in my place and students are really excited here.
Graduation Day is not only for the students but also for parents and relatives who are excited to see their loved ones in togas receiving their diplomas or certificates. Excitement is more for those ones who are expecting to receive awards on that day. Graduating with flying colors is the best thing to happen in this Special Day. I remember myself getting an Honorable Mention in College. And even my Elementary times where i didn't fail to get the Valedictorian Medal.
After graduation, there is a big challenge for the graduates. Will opportunities be available for those fresh graduates from college? Will work be just around the corner waiting to be grabbed or applied for? For those finishing College, what are your plans after graduation?

a simple dinner will do for the celebrants. we do not have much money to butcher a pig and prepare lots of food for the neighbors and friends. just a simple dinner will be fine.

Wow, you have a lot of graduates in your family this year. Maybe you will have a blowout party eh? Maybe one or two pigs to be butchered huh? In the Philippines, if a family has a family member who is graduating, the family throws a feast to celebrate the success of those family members right?

Well I think that is really meaningful to those people that are graduating this year. But in my case my son is just grade 2 so I guess I will have to wait for five more years to see him on stage receiving his diploma.
I just would like to say good luck for those that just finished their college degrees. A new life will unfold to them and hopefully they will be lucky in finding the job they are really qualified. They are now to face the real world and it will be lot different from where they came from.

You're son is still young but you will surely get to see him receive his diploma if that time arrives at your life. good luck!
A new life awaits our dear graduates. Some of them won't be eligible readily for jobs for they have to take their professional license or board exams. Companies require professional eligibility so professional licenses are needed. They even to go to review schools before taking these exams.
