I enjoy my grandchildren 'so much', I give up a lot of my free time for them!

I wonder how many of you feel the same way I do about grandchildren! I really enjoy being with them and being the center of their attention! I give up a lot of my free time and money, just so they can have an enjoyable time, when I am with them!
And I think I cherish this time with them, because I really miss my kids as they were growing up, they grew up so fast, that life just seemed to pass by, like a freight train rollin' downhill, like a 'snowball headed for hell'!

Hi musicman6! How are you doing? I haven't seen you on here in quite a while. I've thought about you, though, and wondered what you were up to.
I don't have any grandchildren, myself, or children, either, for that matter. I'm glad you spend this much time with them. They are only small once and will never pass this way again. Kathy.

Well, Hi, cyrus, it is good to hear from you! The last time we talked I had just lost my mother, and now I just take care of my Dad at home! But I have really been busy, because I've been playing a lot of music, and still in all the same bands!
And since December, I have been busy working,by working for a company that prepares taxes! We'll be through April 15!
You're right, I don't get on here as often, but usually during the Winter, when it's cold, or when it is raining a lot, is when I like to get on the computer and do some myLotting! Usually during the spring and summer, I'm outside a lot! But I'll keep in touch with ya' as much as I can! (I know ya'll have gotten a lot of rain over there)

I'm so sorry to hear about you losing your mother. If I knew about it, I probably forgot. I know how it is to lose your mother, though. I lost mine in 1997. She and I were really close. She had alzheimer's and several strokes. When she first started getting alzheimer's it was like I had already lost her. She wasn't the same person any more.
We had a lot of rain both yesterday and today. It's supposed to go up to 69 tomorrow and I hope it does. Kathy.

Don't have grandchildren, but I do have nephews. The oldest will be 15 next month, and I still remember meeting him for the first time when he was about two days old.

Yes, Stacey, my wife and I have nothing else to do, so that is our reward for having decent children !
