What do people do with a hard major to get a job with?

I am International Studies Major. I know it can get into a lot of jobs but it is not the kind of major that has a specific job lined up for it. For example, Biology Majors are orientated being a doctor or Political Science Major to become a lawyer. How many of you feel that you're stuck in a dead-end major, not knowing what to do with it?

I think international studies can be applied to alot of different careers- maybe try something wear you'd travel abroad or requires knowledge of foreign countries? I'm actually trying to decide a major for myself right now. But it seems as if the majors I might be interested to study do not lead to jobs I want to have, and careers I'm considering to pursue require classes I don't want to take. Well, goodluck :) I hope things work out. I'm sure you'll figure it out- if you chose the major, the job will make sense when it comes along.

It sucks because it's a catch-22. People say to study what you want to, because you'll enjoy it and the job will just come naturally. So the question then becomes do you want to earn money in a job that you don't want or do you want to study what you're passionate about and see if the job will come later on in time. Thank you for the advice and the support. Good luck to you as well =). I guess the good jobs require hard classes. lol. good luck frozen.
