Whom will you save first in this scenario?

I remember an old story of my country .It's a hypothesis there:
When your girl and your mom fall into a dangerous river in the same time ,both of them aren't able to swim .You can only save one of them once each time,the other one will die because of the deep and rapid river.Whom will you save first ?
Girls often ask this question to their boys.I have heared a perfect answer that exactly express my thought : I will save my mom first ,then swim to you ,but if you died ,i will die with you .
what do you think my friend ?

I think that's good enough, that answer express our love to both of them, to our mom and our girl. But if in the real incident, I would safe my girl first, because it is more easy to safe her first than my mom.

Yep.It's just a hypothesis .In real incident ,we may face a different situation.

That's the best answer I've ever heard in my entire life! 
Why didn't I thought of that before? LOL. I've been asked that question since I was in kindergarten, seriously.

Yeah, really. I was like 5 at that time and my classmates were kids too and we're asking one another about that question. I find it funny now because we're so young to ask that questions to one another.

hell0! wel, i think I have watched some similar movie, but it was with a rock and the son and the nephew of a woman hang over a cliff and she could save only the one of them, well she has chosen the nephew because the son was a killer :)
well, now lets go back to your question- if they both fall in a river and they could not swim, i think i will do all the best to save them both, but if i don't have any time i will save the one that is closer to me, because I may not have time enough to reach to the one who is further!

hello phoenix,your answer is the one we often hear.Although it is not the novel one ,but it is the one must of us will choose .since the river is rapid and deep ,if you choose the further one ,maybe you could not save anyone of them,maybe, lose your life too.

There's so much truth in the given answer as we have so much love to give and our love should not be restricted or limited to only a few but if we can, as long as we can, we should give out love for everybody whom we are capable of loving,too.
