Your favourite minor character.

I started to read the first Harry Potter book several years ago but never finished it. My grand daughter used to have copies of all the books. Professor Sprout sounds interesting because I have an interest in herbs also. I liked that big hairy guy as well. Don't know his name.

My favorite minor character in the Harry Potter series is Dean Thomas. He's like really cool with Harry, never had any ill feelings nor doubted the Boy who lived. I also like the part in the last book where he hid with Tonk's dad to prevent those who persecute muggles/mud bloods. And he is also a good friend to Seamus. I wish J.K.R wrote more background about Dean.

My favourite minor Character is Molly Weasley. She is portrayed as the bubbly motherly type who takes care of her family. She is Arthur's wife and the mother of seven children. Despite that they cannot be considered as rich, the Weasleys have always provided good education and good food for their children. for some reason or another Molly Weasley reminds me a lot of my own mother. She fusses over Harry Potter and her own kids and is worried stiff about their safety. She protects her children tooth and nail when Bellatrix lestrange tries to attack Ginny with the killing curse. At the end she kills Bellatrix. I do wonder what does her youth consisted of? Was she an adventerous person or a humbly quiet girl?

My favorite would have to be Luna Lovegood, too. She's quirky in a fun way, and she sticks to her unconventional beliefs, however weird they may be. She's smart, a DA member, and has a very unique fashion sense.

That's a good question. I think I like Remus Lupin the most of the less-major characters, lol. He seems like such a good person with good morals, despite that he's a werewolf and many others in the wizarding world are prujudiced about that.

My favorite minor (or not so minor) character is Lucius Malfoy--particularly in the movies. His part is played with such perfect snobbery and disdain, and both his evil nature and his weak character come through so clearly. And the juxtaposition between his character and Ron Weasley as father figures and pureblood wizards is very dramatic and telling, as well. Quite the commentary on class in society.

My favorite minor character is Cho Chang. The reason is really simple, I like to play her art cause she was able to date both harry and cedric. lol I think it would be very interesting being a part of both wizard's life who's really handsome and someone who's really famous.
