Are You one in favor of saying, I live to work, Or I work to Live?

well i want to njoy to live... so it includes work but only which i love well for me work is something that u love to go and best part is you get paid for it.... lol but true for meeee

I work to live... I think that is the better way to say it..LIVE the word is vary vague when it comes to saying it..What I meant is that. I work for my family to live, me and be able to get and buy my needs and wants.

People live to enjoy their lives. It looks like a nonsense but it's true. Now, if we have to work in order to enjoy our lives afterwards, that's a pity. It's just the way this world is built. If there are people who live to work, then either the job is very enjoying itself, or that person is just mad about carrier and forgets the real purposes for living. Maybe we'll reach that day when only the machines will work (at least all the physical work) and we'll be left to do what we do best...to think! And maybe the next step will be to let the machines do the thinking for the repetitive tasks, and we will only do the innovative work and programing ... for eight hours per week not per day... and finally maybe we will enjoy most of the time instead of working and resting after...

Honestly, for me. I just work because i am bored with myself. I need to be kept busy the whole day, or i will go out of my mind. TATA.

I work to live. If I didnt have to work, Id be doing something else thats for sure. Id be painting, Id be going out with friends, cooking foods that take a long time to cook but Id know I have all the time in the world. Id also start to paint my whole house since that again, Id have all the time. I guess I'll be a busy one once I retire or win the lottery lol.

Well neither of those apply to me these days since I've been retired for several yrs now BUT when I was workin it was definately "I work to live" for me

for now i definitely work to live. my income just gets me by. you can say that you to work if you re enjoying your work, right? but it s really slim pickin s when it comes to work that you can enjoy. like me for instance, i ve always wanted to have a band that plays in mainstream but it s hard for a band to be recognize nowadays. there are a lot of great bands today that lacks the attention so what s more for my band, right? although i think there is a possiblity if we took the easy route but it s not nice. lol

I personally work to live. Living, by definition, isn't just to eat, to have clothes. It's about living a good life, wherein you can spend time doing the things you want. Working is just a means to get what I want, to live the kind of life that I want. But it's not really the center of my life. My family comes first and foremost.

This world contains different type of people and each of them differ. As you say these are two categories. But to me both are same as they live . It is either they work to live or live to work. Live to world category are less in numbers compared to work to live. Any how , I enjoy life working hard to live as this gives me a lot exercise to make the body active and have a sound sleep.

Hey my friend.Nice to see you . For me ,i work to live .Cause history and literature is my love .However ,my major is IT.C/C++ program and wirless Tech make me crazy .I think my future job will be in IT company ,It's so funny !But ,I have to .That's my life .
