how to relate a person with a psychological problem?

i have a friend which is psychotic and i was worried because its too serious.

I hope tht this person is getting treatment. There are many new treatments available to treat mental illness and of course Psychotic can cover many different conditions. Being a friend of someone like this is very difficult, I hope you have access to someone educated in these types of illnesses.
