what's the point of all this?

Even though we would all like to earn, that person I guess thought of nothing else but money. That sure is a senseless topic. Unless he expound on it and actually related it to some situation like would you rather sit or stand while playing a guitar or anything else, it would have made better sense. As for the rest of us, we earn money and get something intangible at the same time learning new information and others.

I noticed that too! YOu are so right. I haven't started a personal discussion in a while due to personall issues but I try to make what I say or ask as interesting or intrigueing as possible to a lot of mylotters. Thanks for you observation too.

I agree with you on this. Some people think that by posting senseless nonsense they will make a great deal of money. However, I know from experience here at myLot that is not the way that it works. Those of us that are truly here for the discussions and friendship often think little about the money. I know that I have a lot of fun responding to discussions and also learn new things through reading what others post. For me, the income is just an added benefit. Even if I were not getting paid, I would still use myLot as I enjoy it quite a bit and have made some wonderful friends here. Yes, it is likely that his post will end up costing him and there will be deductions to his earnings. But, that is his choice to mess up his own possible income and to start a discussion that has no standing. I do not reply to these discussions as I do not want to waste my time on mindless things and would much rather offer my insight and input to a discussion that truly means something.

Yeah, I think the amount of money earned should be according to the amount of effort put into it.
