Did it happen to you?
You want to see a movie, you're at home alone, you start to watch the movie, you are captivated, is a good subject ... but ... begins to be a horror movie, with terrible scenes, but you are really curious to see what follow, but at the same time you're frightened, you fear, what are you doing?
Switch off your TV, or You light all lights in home, and you will tell yourself; what will be will be, maybe i will not die because i am scared.
You will stop TV and call your friends to watch to this movie with him?
I do not watch horror movies, no one, no other 100 people together, I fear, and ready, to me very afraid and i am not ashamed to say this.
I saw someone who was to have a hard attack in a horror movie, a few years ago, I was in the kitchen, and I had some friends invited my home, and they were looking at a horror movie ... I heard just when someone started screaming and shaking, he went had a really crazy, gave up, started to cry. I called saving, and then I threw all the horror films of my house.
They looked at Darkness Fall , i understand that is a horror movie very hard, not everyone can look at it.

I am quite a fan of good horror movies, and since I live alone I invariably watch them while alone. I do not have any problem becoming involved in such a story, although I can appreciate that many people find it very difficult to seperate the movie from reality when their mind is actively engaged in it.

I could not watch horror movies alone.. though if it's not so horrific, depends on the type of horror i can be resistant to the hair raising experience. but movies with a lot of blood and children with demonic character really scares the wits out of me.

I'm not afraid to watch horror movies if I'm alone in the house. Actually, horror is my favorite genre and I don't mind whatsoever watching horror movies whether people are at home or I'm home alone.

I could watch alone. I love horror movies. It doesn't bother me anyway even if I fall asleep. I used to dream about nightmares but it don't leads to worst anyway. Don't frightened yourself 'cause it will kills you. Just make fun of what you've seen on screen. Be scared if it happens in reality. It's on your mind set.

I have no problem watching horror movies at home on my own, I rather enjoy them, and will happily settle down on the sofa with a drink and a bowl of nibbles and watch a horror movie.

I can watch horror films even when I am alone. I do admit though that it could be scary sometimes so I always watch the film with lights on.
I am sorry to hear about that person who almost had an heart attack. Was he all right? That is sometimes the disadvantage of horror films especially to those who are easily scared or have medical conditions. Darkness Falls is a very scary movie especially when the "flying dark monster" is going around the rooms.

I'm not really afraid of horror movies. You can say I can't even say that there are horror movies as they never horrify me . That's why I can see them with or without people. I usually watch this kind of movies to have a laugh, but they always dissapoint me in the end

Yes, I watched tons of horror movies alone because no one in my household and even my boyfriend is also not a fan of horror movie.
However, I don't watch it if my lights are off because as much as I like horror movie, I am also unable to cope with the frightening scene, sound and ambience that we using experience in the movie theater.

hello.
wow i was having a hard time understanding your discussion, but anyway i think I had it figured out. Anyway, I am a very big fan of horror movies, I just love them and yes I can watch them alone, all by myself even during night time. I've learned how to control my fear, specially when its just pure imagination. I discovered that it is all in our heads and if you will let your fear get into you, you will end up really scared and frightened. Don't let your fear control you, well mine don't. I control it Anyway, I fear those things in reality, like people wanna hurt others, or when someone tries to hurt me.

Yeah, it did happen to me when I was watching Mirrors. Me and a friend chat over skype and he gave me the idea to put on the movie at the same time, and then call each other, i had nothing better to do so I agreed. It was like 11 pm, and I was home alone, with all lights out and I have these monsters for speakers and they are loud. For a couple of scenes, I really had to stop the movie and give it a rest, because it terrified me a lot, and after it, I chatted with my friend and we were pretty scared, then I went to bed seriously considering to move the mirror which is front of it =D

Hi, always think it as a fiction, then u will dare to watch. Me, i like to watch horror movie alone, bcoz most of them, there are some adult scenes. Its quiet impossible to watch with family. I think maximum girls are less brave than guys. Hahaha. Just kidding.

Hi,
There was a time when I loved scary stuffs. I was addicted to horror movies. I remember my childhood. I used to read horror stories and shudder with fear. It was such an awful sensation especially when you are alone. Then I was done with those books. They failed to appeal to my sense of fear. I then switched to movies, the scariest of them. I started watching horror movies like The Exorcist, The Others, Salem's Lot, Bram Stokers Dracula etc. They were the classic ones and had substances apart from the element of fear. Soon they dried up too. Then I started watching Chinese horrors like Grudge and Shutter and also movies like The Ring. I was afraid, and remained that way for sometime. But that phase too, unfortunately passed. Now I am totally out of fear, which I don't like at all. You are so fortunate that you still get that sensation of fear from those scary movies. I wanna get afraid too, but guess those golden days are lost forever.
God bless you

Hi! I'm not really a fan of horror movies, but I've no problems with it either. I can sit through a horror film even if I'm home alone. I guess it's because I'm so used to our place. Maybe if I'm in someone else's house in a mysterious neighborhood, it would make me paranoid for the night.
