Let's say that I want to talk in terms of health, is more hygienic to sleep only in pajamas (or not) without underwear on? Grandma when I was little, say that is more hygienic to sleep without, is more comfortable and can sleep easier. May be even more risky ways,to sleep without underwear one is shown in the picture below .. and I'm sure others will find other reasons to sleep without, or with underwear in the night . With or without underwear? ... now I am sorry I have not started this discussion in the humor section ....

hi icesmile, Actually in vedas any person should wear only two clothes to cover the body one is under side and other is upper side, while sleeping i use lungi only, but mostly modern ladies will sleep with nighties my wife with saree,my sons with pant and shirt or pajamas, have a nice day

well i read somewhere that in night during sleeping body grows, so after reading that article i decided that its better not to force your body from growing, since then i have never ever tried to wear underwear during sleeping. besides that i also try not to wear it in the morning. i don't feel comfortable with that.

well its not compulsory that u have to sleep without any clothes, you can wear clothes which are loose enough. that would do the job.

I haven't heard of it being more hygienic to sleep without underwear. I wouldn't be able to sleep without underwear because I never had and wouldn't be used to it. I'm comfortable enough if I don't wear pants.

is hygienic, healthy, and more relaxing too, to wear underwear under pajamas, for me is like in last century, when sleeping with corset too..If our feet like to be barefoot at home, why not "rest" body can benefit from the same freedom, even in sleep?

I heard this along time ago its better to sleep without for hygienic reasons. When you sleep you will sweat more wearing the underwear. So I have not slept in underwear in years. Its quite comfortable to me to sleep with only my pajamas on.

Sweetie, if you go to bed, make sure you don't have any underwear on. It is not good for the bloodflow at all. Your body need to breath, if i can put it that way. So, those undies will not do at all. TATA.

I've heard it is better to sleep without underwear and I tried it a couple of times and i don't find the difference, but there may be I don't know. i really prefer sleeping with undies to sleeping without them. I find it more comfortable. Have a nice myLotting

Well I look at it the practical way. If you wear underwear, you can wear your pajamas again at least once. If not, yechhhhhh......

I only sweat when I sleep in the summer. And yeah, then I change them daily. But when it's cold, nope...

I have same temperature in my room, even if it is winter or summer,people are different anyway, but doctors say all we sweat in our sleep, is maximum relaxation for body;

LoL. I feel more comfortable sleeping wearing undies. I don't know if it's a health issue or not, but not wearing them will only make it harder for me to fall asleep (as I've said, I'm not comfortable without those undies). Haha.

fire - is risky
is a option, and is more safe, in many circumstances

It was advised that it's better to wear loose clothing when sleeping. This will help in getting a more restful sleep. For me, I just want to feel comfortable on bed when I sleep. But that doesn't mean I have to sleep without my underwear. Anyway, I really don't see the connection between hygiene and sleeping without underwear.

It actually depends. Most of the time I sleep without an underwear. But there are times I forget to take it off. I am much more relaxed when I sleep without one on. It gives my waist a breather. =)

i sleep only in loose shorts, i want everything to get some air during night to make sure i don't wake up covered in sweat. so without would be more hygienic i think :D

either way its going to be the same, because either youre getting your body junk all over your clothes or all over your sheets and rolling around in them! it really doesnt matter, unless youre sick and getting your sickness all over then youll be fine, people used to sleep in their clothes all the time, no big deal really

well i think its very relative. Depends on the weather, culture and of course the person's habit. But I'd rather sleep without underwear, in order to give my "special tools" time to breath after a tight long sweating days... hahahaha

Well me, i am not comfortable sleeping without underwear because it feels like uneasy for me. More likely, i mostly were clothes that are soft and of course with underwear while sleeping. Maybe their are people like that who wants to sleep naked because they feel they are free at all.

Definitely on for me.I feel really uncomfortable to sleep without them. Health wise I have heard that it should be off when we go to sleep. But there is no way I am taking it off when I sleep . lol.
