Do you buy DESIGNER items, even if you can't afford it?

Yes, other people are like that. We cannot blame them for that because that is what they want for themselves. They prefer that kind of lifestyle without realization that they can do more of their money in any other ways which you are right. It is them who will make a consequence of their action. It's good to buy some designer items but in moderation. Or for those people who can afford all sorts of stuffs then it would not be a problem because they still have extra money for other things.

no i dont want to buy a designer items, it expensive for me. i ussually go shopping at traditional market. i can spend some money to buy much more than i buy a designer items. back to us, is designer items is much important for me ? how often i use the designer items ?

i love food, so i wont buy any designer things just because i wanted to show off and what i will eat is the one that will suffer. i am lucky to have a wife who does not care about designer items as well. we go for comfortable clothes and cool items. though i have to say that when it comes to technology we are the type who wants to buy the good quality ones. like cellphones and gadgets but we make sure that we save for that before we buy rather than buying it without saving first.

I think it's pathetic if a person puts luxury first even before the necessities of your own family. And sometimes these people don't even know how to appreciate designer things , they just buy them for the sake of having something to brag about. It's like buying an art piece when you don't even like art. LoL. They probably think it'll make them look cooler. Anyway to answer your question, no I would never buy something I cannot afford. But if I could afford the expensive brands, I would buy them - IF and only if, I can honestly say to myself that I LOVE the design. Actually even if it's not a branded item as long as I LOVE the design so much, I would definitely buy the product.

I don't buy designer items cause I really can't afford it. I try to use my money wisely. With the crisis right now, we should be responsible and wise enough to buy things that we really needed. You can buy designer items if you can afford, if ever I will buy one, maybe its used item. There's a lot of that in ebay, people selling their used designer items in a very low price, sometimes a brand new item. If you can afford then go buy a designer but if you can't afford then you just look for other affordable but beautiful items in the mall.
