yeah, sometimes it happens to me to when some is calling me moron and that freaks me really out, but most of the time I just reject them! :) HAHA JUST KIDDING TO SEE YOUR REACTION :)
well, yes, sometimes there are people who really don't know what is the discussion all about and just post something in the sake of the "good earnings" which I find for really intolerable, but always try to give them some tips in order not to repeat the same mistake twice!

I believe these individuals only read the question and not the discussion.

Some people on MyLot appear to have diarrhea of the mouth. You think the site would catch on that some people just type crap just to type it and don't say anything of substance. Wouldn't it be nice if we could delete rubbish responses off of our own discussion threads?

You know... that would be a very nice feature to have on Mylot...

Well I've once started a discussion about sleep habits. I think that the question was "Do you prefer to sleep alone or do you share your bed with somebody?"
One guy answered like that:"My little hottie is sleeping on the floor next to my bed, when I need sexy time I call her and she climbs up and we do it and when I get tired I push her down and sleep alone". It was something like that, with lots of typos. And later he added, that "my hottie feels good, I have a matress for her on the floor".
Kind of weird answer.
But luckily most of the users can return an adequate feedback.

Yes, I usually ignore the odd or out of context ones... But sometimes I just feel that people need a little head shaking reality check.

I definitely won't say that this freaks me out. However, sometimes I have to wonder about some of the things that people do say in response to a discussion. For example, in a discussion that I recently started, one person simply responded, I like chatting with you. I didn't even know the person and that was what disturbed me about it.
But, it is also interesting to read what people have to say even if it doesn't follow the topic at hand.

Whether a plant is a fruit or a vegetable is a question that troubles many people. Why, for example, should a carrot be classified as a 'fruit' in Europe? Because (in Portugal, apparently) 'jam' can be made out of carrots ... I can vouch for it: it is possible ... and so carrots carry a different tax to other root vegetables, such as potatoes and parsnips.
Discussion topics are like seeds. You hope that what is going to grow is a plant with many leaves representing different opinions on a similar subject but if the seed is ill formed and isn't crystal clear about the topic you intend to discuss, there are people who will read what you have written and interpret it in an entirely different way to what you had intended.
Most of the weirdest discussion responses have either been unintelligible (one hopes that the person did have something to say but could not express it in English, so perhaps, used Gargle Translocate) or have been mere random pastings of more or less relevant passages from some web page or other.

Probably far more healthy than what we get here which has usually never seen a berry or an orange or whatever. When you realise how much sugar (or molasses) goes into the ol' fashioned baked beans, one begins to wonder if the dish shouldn't be served as a dessert, after all!

hi beatrizguiselle I do not often get that but once I had made a discussion on how when you are all alone in a house late at night you begin to imagine the noises you hear are some burglar or other scary thing'when usually its the wind blowing a branch against your bedroom'window screen and making an odd noise. I got one answer
that was totally off the subject. the person was talking on and on
'about ghosts and how to detect them, Nowhere in my discussion had I said anything about ghosts or the paranormal, i just talked about the odd noises that are always happening. the idea was we often let our imagination get the best of our common sense.
