I understand that women loves to go shopping. Their appetite for new clothing never cease, and they would keep on going. But what is enough is enough. Sometimes, I look at my sister's room, a closetful of clothing; some she only wear once. Obviously, there will not be enough room for her shopping "trophies" anymore, but she will keep on shop again. I just don't understand why. For me, there is only handy of clothing for different seasons. I might wear them until they are un - wearable. Saving money, and I don't need extra clothing.

I wish i could go and buy myself tons of new clothes everytime i go to the mall, but that just isn't reasonable. I rarely buy myself new clothes, because i prefer spending my money on necessities. I do love being able to treat myself to something new every once and again, but i believe it is ridiculous and a waste of money to have so much clothes that you can't even use everything that you own!

That is right. If you knew you can't wear all of them, why keep on buying? That is waste of money. I told her million of times. She has to spend money to wash all of them, and she has to find room for the new comers too.

everyone tries to find fulfillment in something. sometimes it is saving up as much money as possible and never spending a dime, sometimes its spending more money than you have because you want all this stuff, sometimes its power or fun or thrills or whatever....some people like to shop, others dont, it doesnt mean they're really all that different because they're still trying to satisfy their lives with something that isn't ever going to satisfy them.
the only thing that has ever satisfied me completely is Jesus Christ. everything else is in vain in the end.

Mainly because women are more choosy on the clothes they wore, women are more indulge in fashion statements than men are. women also intend to shop and buy a lot more because women are fond of matching up trends of clothing styles. and lastly women has a lot accessories so they have a lot more stuff, for example make up alone constitutes many paraphernalia of brushes and foundations, lip sticks and the such.

Unfortunately, I wonder about the same thing everyday. I'm a woman. When I look at my closet, I see a lot of clothes but I just can't see myself wearing any of them for that day. You see, sometimes, girls' moods change. Sometimes, they want to wear a certain outfit and ransack through their closets to look for it. Only to find out, the outfits don't match!
However, I'm also not the kind of person who shops for clothes. I am content with what I have. But if I had a lot of money, I would go shopping for new clothes!

I am a woman, and I ask myself this question every day.
Well, first all, let start by saying that I went from 220 lbs. to 160 lbs. I lost a good 60 lbs. of weight. Yay! Okay, well now there is a BIG, or should I say HUGE problem. Many of my clothes do not fit me! What am I to do? Well, I have to go shopping for some new clothes.
Now another problems arises: What if I gain the weight back? Hopefully this will never happen, but in my family, women have all been on the weight roller coaster.
So now, what do I do? Do keep the big clothes with skinny clothes? Do I get rid of the big clothes? What should I do? This is a problem.
I have given away many of my big size clothes already, but there are still some there just in case. I am seriously afraid of gaining the weight back.
A lot of times, I buy new clothes to keep up with the current styles, but also because my other clothes do not fit me anymore.
Some of the women on this board might also be in my shoes, and have this problem. In fact, the current clothes I am wearing right now are a lot looser on me than they were before. I was a size 20, then I went down to a 16, then 14, well, now I am a size 12 or possibly size 10. See my problem!

i love shopping and i believe that most of the women love shopping too. i am a shopcoholic and love to buy whatever dress i love without thinking how to pay my credit card later. i think i do not have enough space in my wardrode to hang all my beautiful clothes. i feel more confident when wearing beutiful clothes. besides that, i love to buy handbags and shoes too.
eventually i notice that i am in great danger because owe credit card company a lot. luckily my boyfrind helped me to settle the outstanding bills.

I dont get to buy a lot of clothes like your sister. I only have a few clothes in my closet and I am satisfied with them. I only get to buy another one when one is not wearable anymore. Its a waste of time and money for me if I would buy something and it would just be sitting there. I dont get to buy a lot of shoes either cause I got the tendency to wear the same pair of shoes over and over even of I have other shoes to wear. There are a lot of women who are shopaholic but I am not one of them and I thankful I am.
