do you think that computer could be replaced by cell phones ever

There is always a possibilty. Computers are rapidly becoming available as a smaller item as technology advances, which is evident by the current format compared with the times when you actually required a computer room due to all data being processed via a tape system. The first design was the Difference Engine by Charles Babbage, which when finally built weighed several tons. Mobile phone technology is moving further towards computer technology with every development, so the idea of becoming a replacement is not too far fetched.

I agree computer will never can replace for cellphone because their size its not practical. I think the cell phone will replace computer, today we can find PDA and PDA phone in the market with office and multimedia application on it, even the price is the same with laptop. I think people will prefer carrying PDA phone than laptop.

I would be devastated if that ever happened. I depend on my computer to do business, make money, and assignments. I don't think a cellphone is capable of the speeds and things that a computer can do.

Hello 1anurag1. I think many people like computers for being in internet because they are bigger. Fortunateness the generation that is under 30's are starting to use cell phones for social network, email, etc... so I do think they would get use to that and in the future computers can become history! Well, cell phones are such a pretty thing, they are small and you can take them everywhere, and also bring them in your hand like everyone :) But there are also a lot of mini-pc, just a bit bigger than cell phones, but more powerful, and with a better screen, imho.

i dont think so, not all together because there are people like me who dont use my cell for that reason. to small and cost to much. i prefer doing my work on my deck top or laptop. now once my business get really big and i travel then i might use my cell to check my email only

I think it is not possible.. because computer have their own position in our life.. but it is good.. now technology have more developed and cellphone have many facility like email, messaging, chatting.. etc.. so we are now aware of it.. but i don't think.. computer ever replaced by cell phones... because some work only done by computers ..and computers have a great position in our daily life... have a nice day and keep mylotting always..
