Gracious! I have never experienced that! Most headaches, I think, come from dehydration. I freeze bottles of water and drink the melted runoff throughout the course of the day. I sewed a nice little pouch to carry the frozen bottles around in so that they do not drip all over everything from the condensation when the water melts. For some reason water just does not taste good to me unless it is very cold. If my water is good-tasting then I am more likely to drink enough for optimal health ;-)

Actually, that may be a cultural difference. I do not much like shopping, personally, and hardly ever buy unnecessary things. I do love to eat out, which may be a little unnecessary, but certainly not unimportant.
Do you like to have lunch at a restaurant when you are out shopping?

yes that is also related too as well as weather condition adds into headaches.headaches shopping is something related to gratification something makes you happy.we know all women likes shopping and comes into point that they cant control themselves buying unnecessary things which later not important.

Only if you really want it so much. It's such a joy to own this and that but we have to be realistic. If something is beyond our budget then so be it, if you really want it then make a plan on how to save enough so you can get it eventually. make it your goal. You will only get a headache if you want something and keep on wanting that thing without doing something on how you can get it. It's just like wanting a fruit from a tree but instead of climbing the tree to get the fruit, you lie on the ground and wait until the fruit falls . Cheers!

Hi, for me, I won't have headache but my mood will be very unfocused and I will keep thinking of the stuffs I want to buy and only to be reminded that I cannot afford it and then I will self-lecture myself about how the items are useless and I already have a lot of the. It's like I will have an angel and devil battle inside me but normally that's about it.
And yes, I will try to avoid the place but when I go nearby to the shop, I will make a trip back inside and stare at the stuff I want, hoping that there is a drop in price and I might just be able to afford it this time round...

Yes, it is true. If you are not careful, what you own can easily end up owning you! But on the other hand, you only live once; so I don't think people should deny themselves all of the time either. A life without a little fun and risk is hardly worth living in my book! It's those people that try to keep up with the Joneses' that have a problem. They only buy stuff to show off or 1-up others. That's not right. But to splurge on an indulgence for yourself every once in a while is totally fine!

i dont know about physical headaches, but they sure can lead to real health problems when your focus in life is on possessions that are all going to burn one day. life isn't about these stupid things, but rather is it about knowing God and living by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. things come and go, but God is always there!

that makes sense because the more you have, the more you worry about keeping it safe and secure.
the key is to learn to be happy with the stuff we have already (i dont go shopping that much but shop at thrift stores and shop at sales plus if i want something, i save up for it.)

I would say that possessions of things will lead to a headache if you start worrying about their safety. If we desire things too much we can get so stressed if they do not come to us. Then when they come to us, we can get stressed about having them stolen or them becoming lost. I think that through the media, the human race has come to want too many things that we don't really need in our life. But they can be fun, if we don't get headaches from them! _Derek

According to you, headaches occur when you view something which you want but is out of your reach because you can`t afford it, isn`t it? The best thing is to avoid looking for such things which you desperately want but can`t afford.Another thing, attachment to anything whether it is your boy/girl friend, parents, relatives, material goods etc is the main source of headaches and suffering. The wise people whom we refer as saints have understood the real meaning of life and the path to permanent happiness and that is non-attachment.That is why they are unmoved by pleasure and pain and are beyond all these things. If you can develop such qualities or at least come close then you will never suffer any hurt or headache in your life.Ok, suppose you managed to get the shoes somehow, do you think that you will never want anything else in your life? Just see, after sometime you will lose interest in them and want something new and so your headaches will start all over again and will never end.So the best thing is to avoid such situations and keep out of the temptations and you will see that your headaches will lessen and you will find peace, happiness and contentment.I have reached such a stage in my life and never suffer from any headaches, like you do.

Hiya amyson,
More than anything I would say frustration and if you feel down enough you can get a headache I suppose.
I think that following Fashion too much can affect people like that too I must have this that and the other.
I can get like that just the same as any other. Sometimes I have only had two changes of clothes to be able to wear so I have learned that the hard way.
We are being affected by a consumer effect for example here if you are not wearing the latest fashion you get stared at I can vouch for this and it´s on the increase. People are not a walking clothes rack they are people no matter what they wear. I kid you not about this I just ignore them. So don´t worry we all get that I want to buy feeling lots of times.

amyson, no problem. cannot afford to buy, then dont buy as we say 'our money is not dry yet'. meaning, not enough money, so we have to save enough to buy. when we have enough money and we need to buy, then we buy. to me, if there is no need for me to buy, then i skip it.life is moving on and we need to focus on the present needs. why, the precious needs are no longer necessary now. thus i keep my money for the rainy days, ie just save it in the bank and earn whatever interest. i believe in little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. or as the malay proverb says, little by little, a mountain is formed. so amyson, there is no need to have headache over such things.this is my practical thoughts on life. we think of getting more pairs of shoes till we see someone with no feet. so feel bless and bless that person to be presentd with an artificial pair of feet. to put on his shoes. have a good day.

yes your right because of economic crisis.but still women have some needs like pampering themselves such as buying an expensive bags or even a new pair of shoes we cannot deny that we felt frustrated when we see others have this and so and i think it is just normal for women to buy when they earn so well those hardwork days makes them smile when they buy something for themselves right?we know its crisis but we need to be happy sometime to our special wants.

I am not like that. I never experienced headache over the things I want. If I truly want something I usually buy it but if it is expensive i use my credit card. I usually think about it carefully when things I want is very expensive, If i really really want it and badly needed it, a buy it but usually i let it go and I have no problems with that.

yes case to case basis,we need to eat first that is our priority aside from all things.its normal to felt frustrate by not buying the want we likes sometime we became irritable so to buy it yes you said buy when it necessary and badly needed we still have control of everything.

lol =D IS that really so serious to lead to a headache?? That has never happen to me before.. MAybe i'm not one into beautiful things, and thus price is not a concern to me?? hehe ^_^
And for your case, since it's a shoe or maybe something that can be bought with money, just save up.. hehe ^_^ OR wait till they have some kind of promotion, before buying it ^_^
If u happen to missed out on buying it, it can only mean that u have no fate with that shoes u wanted.. hehe

I have never heard this but maybe it happens to people who are materialistic. I'm not into having to have something. If I want something and can't have it I don't sweat it. I'm also one who hates to shop anyway. I thankfully hardly get headaches and this would be the last reason I would get one because I can't buy something.
