Yes .......................................................
I can type perfect without looking at the keyboard. I type so much every day while I work.
I have five years experience in the computer field.......
So I can do it very well.
Hey.. I think if you will look at your keyboard then definitely your typing speed will be decreased.............
Try to remember those words that are in keyboard........... and all time try to keep all the fingures in your homekeys and practice the typing...................................
If you try in this way then there is no need to see the keyboard..............................................
If you will practice & practice. it will take more than two month. Even if you wrongly type a word, your hand will be automaticaly move to the back space or delete key without your knowledge.
So, Keep these instructions in mind. You will type fast that's my guarentee
Have a great day
Bye and take care

Tips to learn to type fast:
1) Open Notepad.
2) Take a book.
3) Type from the book for a maximum of 15 minutes daily.
In the start just type without looking at the keyboad slow. Later you can become very fast.:-) Hope this helps you.
Cya around. Takecare. Bye

I can type without looking at the keyboard since I was in Grade 7 in school. I have never followed a course in typing, and in the bad old days we had heavy ramshakle typewriters with hammer like letters striking the paper.
You can learn easing from a program like typing tutor. But follow my method and you will learn typing in about 3 days.
1. Maka a rough drawing of a Keyboard
2. Divide the keyboard in the middle. 7 Y H N should be on the right and 6 T G B will be on the left half.
3. Now draw three lines parrelel to this dividing line on the left half and 3 on the right half.
4. Remember now if we take the ASDF row your lines should seperate the letters like this: A / S / D / FG / HJ / K / L / ;
5. Draw a box around ASDF and JKL;. These are your home keys. Hang this on the wall.
6. Look at the board and navigte your four fingers except the thumb to rest on thes home keys. Don't look at the keyboard. Think you are blind and feel your way. (Now you all are lucky. There is a small piece on F and J jutting out. We did not have that facility in the bad old days)
7. Remember each finger has its own territory demarcated by lines. Don't take any finger outside its territory.
8. Now start typing looking at this board only. You mad take 5 minutes to type a 5 letter word. But be patient and keep typing.
9. See what happens after three days.

I can type without looking at the keyboard on both the standard Qwerty keyboard and the Dvorak keyboard. I've been typing for about 15 years on the Qwerty keyboard, and 1 or 2 years on the Dvorak. Sometimes it takes me a couple seconds to switch between the two if I'm switching computers for some reason.
Try some online typing tutor programs. I like the old DOS ones best myself though.
