free video grabber? any suggestions

I download all the videos I need from YouTube via Python youtube-dl script or I use Internet Download Manager. After downloading, I convert them into the MPEG-4 iPod Touch format and I sync that converted video with the iTunes library and then, it just comes on to my iPod - I use Xilisoft video converter or Allok's.

~ yeah, keepvid is a good choice but it is only fop youtube videos. well, check in goodle, because several weeks ago i founmd some software, but really can't remember the name~

I'm using an add-on for Firefox to save flash videos, called Flashgot : it works fine. I'm also using a cool Greasemonkey (other Firefox add-on) script called YouTube enhancer : it's more than a grabber, try it, you'll like it.
