Getting a job is not easy in nowday sicne there are always full of people looking for your position and many of them get higher education and better experience than you are.But I do believe that if you don't give up anf keep trying and you will find your jobs eventually.I still remember an experience happened in my life once.I went to find a job for many months but just couldn't find it.I almost wanted to give up for walking around was not fun at all.One day,I walked in a social services agency and farnkly speaking,I didn't even know waht they were doing and just asked them if they are hiring for any position. To my surprise,a lady sais yes and another lady came out from her office and invited me to go in.I found out in a minute that she was the excutive director of that social services agency which was serving the developmentally handicapped people. After I show her my qualification and share my experience with her,she hired me after a few days and I just got my job like that.It was a happy experinece and enrichment learning experinece for me to work in that place as well.I truely thank God for this experience. What about you ,share your experience and encourage people in mylot who is still looking for a job.

That's a real blessing. It's a good thing you found a meaningful job. Maybe if you knew about it from the beginning you wouldn't have had to walk around looking for a job. I've also had that experience. I work in the call center industry. Applying for a job in a call center isn't hard, and they have minimal requirements or qualifications. As long as you can converse well or sell well, or you're able to help the customer properly, it's not hard to get a job. I tried once just to see what they were offering, so I walked in with a bunch of my friends. We went through the interview, the testing and everything and the next day we were offered the job. I'm sure if you're looking for a job, there's one out there waiting for you. If you don't get the job you like it means that you're not meant to be there really, and there's a place waiting for you so you can grow there and hone your skills.

Three years ago I was looking for a summer job. I walked into the local movie theater and asked if they were hiring. Another girl was already filling out an application. I filled one out right there and turned it in. As I was leaving, the manager called me back. Apparently, since I go to college and had work experience, he decided to hire me. We went upstairs to do the interview, and then I left. I started working there a few days later. I continued to work there the following summer, and that following fall, when I took time off of school. I'm glad I got the job, although it was just a minimum wage job. I normally got a good amount of hours and my bosses liked me.

Great experience and it is good to watch lots of movies for free.Well, you surelky bdid a good job since your boss liked you.It is important to have a job all the times because we feel that we have some value to live on this earth. But on the other hand ,it is not that easy to get a job and some jobs are just not enough to earn a living for the family.I think in oreder to get a job,we need to always equip ourselves by learning more skills and gain more experiences as well. This society is just getting so realistic. No Education? No Exoerinece? That means you are going to have a hard time. Unless you can be your own boss and creat a business by your self and that is so perfect. However, start up a business is just not easy at all.I think it is important to keep learning or start up a business online without any investment maybe a good idea as well.Of course ,it is never an easy thing to do and actually there is nothing easy in this world.TRhe key is to keep trying and don't give up.Making mistakes? No big deal!Who doesn't ?No body can be a winner unless he can first be a loser and learn from his experience.Well, hav e a good day.

yes your right, its not easy to find job ow a days, though i dont just go to the company. i check for job vacancy in the new paper or internet, and submit my cv through email and expect for their call. if theres info there that applicant must personally go there then thats the only time i go to that company to make sure they still have vacancy and to try my luck for the position.

I have never been that lucky. I had to struggle many times when I was jobless, every one used to ask about experience. I do not want to remember those days. I used to hate interviews before I got my first job.

I can only remember one time I managed to get a job immediately.. I had filled out a Dollar General application back in 2006. My mom turned it in for me the next day for me since she had gone up there. Well, the manager literally chased her down, thinking she was me. After they spoke, she came home and told me, and right away I had an interview.
I went to the interview, spoke to the manager, answered questions, and was hired off the bat. But I had to go through a background check, which took a month due to incompetence, something my manager wasn't proud of. When I was finally able to work, it was under a whole new management..
I loved the job, but my co-workers and I couldn't see eye to eye with the new manager who complained about every little thing. Most of us left three to four months later. I myself tried to get a transfer, but he wouldn't do it.
I miss working at Dollar General. It's one of the easiest, and most rewarding small jobs you can get. At least I think so.

I could say I'm pretty lucky when it comes to having a job. I started working last 2001 and from then on there wasn't a time were I had difficulty of finding a job. I had worked with several companies already and before I resigned I already had a new job waiting for me. My friends said I was lucky but I don't know, maybe I was. I guess every time I would have a job I made sure that I would acquire new knowledge and skills. I made sure that my bosses will be my friends and they served as my mentor. Now that I am out of the corporate world and working at home I realized that I had been luckier when I was accepted with my job now.

Actually, I have. I was still in high school at the time and it was my first job at a fast food restaurant (can't expect many job opportunities at that age after all). Anyways, I wasn't even the one looking for summer work. My sister and her friend were the one with the job interview that day. I was just accompanying them. After the general manager finished she asked me if I wanted to work there too. I figured why not since I didn't have any plans for the summer anyway. So, I filled out the application, did a mini interview and got hired on the spot. I guess I just got really lucky that day.

that is a pretty great way to get a job, but you have to get kind of lucky too. i think the best way to get a job is to look EVERYWHERE...that means looking online, walking downtown with resume in hand, looking through employment agencies, whatever it takes! i usually get my jobs by applying online, but the job im currently at i got through a temp agency. i was supposed to be here for 1 months and now ive been here for over 3 years!

Yeah actually i even had a job just by helping a friend apply for it! Its so fortunate of me to land on my 2nd job, i mean a friend of mine asked for my help to go to this building and apply for a job opening i happen to be mistaken as an applicant too and was given test materials in short i passed the test the interview and in the end i end up working for them as well
Well i just feel bad a bit because the friend that i helped failed to get the job as well
