I believe if you are thinking the right kinds of thoughts (good, positive ones)that your feelings will follow that. I believe it's important to guard your thoughts and eliminate as much negative thinking as you can. This will lead to feeling better about many things in your life. I also think you are right about stopping to think about your feelings. They are not all bad of course, but before taking action on one of them, I try to make certain I'm doing things for the right reason.
