Mylot .... My Search Engine.... / myLot

While surfing the Mylot site ,Whenever I wanted to search for something I am using Mylot search.Otherwise,I opt for other search Engines like Google or Yahoo.Yesterday I was surprised when I got a reward of $0.06 for using Mylot search.I thought such rewards will come to you once in a while only. Today while using the Mylot search ,again I got a reward of $0.10. Even if I do not get any more rewards,I want to make mylot my default search engine. I am using Firefox browser.I tried to add mylot to the list of search engines in my toolbar,but not succeeded.Can anyone help ?????

I'm giving a blind response as I can't use the web search here -- it doesn't work in my country --, and I'm using the search box only for discussions. You need a Firefox add-on to make it your default search engine in the search box, and I don't think there is one actually.

But, you can use it as your default engine in the address bar of Firefox.

In your address bar, type : about:config Search for "keyword.URL" and replace the string value by : http://search.mylot.com/search.aspx?t=web&k= I think it will work, but, as I said, I can't control it here.

I used the search engine of mylot for discussions as well and got $.20 cents :D maybe as long as you use the search box you'll be able to get credits.

I got my very first earning using mylot's search engine just now and wanted to share it with everybody here in mylot. But then I bumped into your discussion and I'm glad that I'm not the only one. Got my very first $.2 cents today and I'm happy

If you want to make this as your default search engine you could try putting http://search.mylot.com/search.aspx?t=web&k=

Exactly this is what I look for. But, i feel better to come here and search. This makes me to see some new posts and introduction of new friends.
