should we follow the instrutions of todays priest,Religious leaders and saints?

lot friends,should we follow the instructions of todays religious leaders,priests,saints or we should lead our own life to make it our own palce!as many groups have been formed today?some have even started interfering in the daily matters of life to tell people what to do and what not to do?

i dont follow anyone, unless its by law or constitution that might put me to jail. or i will only follow my boss at work as they might going to kick me out from work if not. but just for my life then i follow whatever i want to do and say what i want to say as i believe in my freedom. i dont let anyone to control my life even my family. my parents are understanding as long as i explain to them why i need to do those kind of things. but in religion then i dont bother to listen as long as i live a peaceful and good life without offending and hurting others. though i respect them as a leader but not to the point of following them as i still control my own life coz this is my life.
