I have a great hobby of playing games.I want to by the new series of graphic card from ATI-which is now taken by AMD.These cards are suppose to be less power consuming and have more processing power,so that I can run these cards with my 400W SMPS.
Does any one have an idea when it is going to be launched?

It seems that you have to wait until 2011. As we know that ATI just launch Radeon 5900 series. So, it doesn't make sense for ATI to kill her own just launching product.
But, there is a possibility that Radeon 6000 series can be launched at the end of this year, within October to December.
Btw, just upgrade your PSU. 400W is not enough to support high end GPU. At least, you have to upgrade it to 600W Pure Power.

The thing is that I have 'crossfire ready' motherboard,so I am thinking of buying a mid range 6000 series gpu for which 400W would be enough, and then later upgrade to a high-end gpu in crossfire with former midrange gpu and also upgrading the PSU to 800W simultaneously.
How is the performance of a high end gpu in crossfire with a midrange gpu?
