Do you get irritated with free upset ?

If someone give you a free gift that will certainly not upset you but when it comes to free advice its quite different. A free advice without your wish can really upset you and irritate you. Infact you yourself never know when you actually need an advice and from whom and there are very low chances that a perfect person gving you an advice on a perfect time. Having it at a wrong time or from a wrong person, any of these not going to ease you problem.

I agree that advice at the wrong time or from the wrong person can be really counterproductive and sometimes just makes everything worse, but it helps to take a step back from the situation and try to think about it from the other person's perspective. What feels very hurtful to the person on the receiving end might be a genuine expression of concern from the person on the giving end. It's like getting a terrible present for your birthday and being angry at the person who gave it to you. Rarely is the person giving you a gift to hurt your feelings, it's just that they don't quite understand you or why it might be unwelcome. Sometimes, people are oblivious like that.
