I was in school that time,we were 20 in the class, the classroom tables were placed across the other in a way that my row of 10 students were facing the other row of the other 10. During class, i noticed that the 10 legs across me, were all wearing Jeans!! There was a dark jean, a faded jean, a stretch jean, a bootleg jean, you name it... there was it.
I am wondering what is in a pair of Jeans that make it so likeable to people? Because it is what is sold in stores? bec it is convenient and can be worn many times before washing ( wear and wear and never wash? ), or because it is affordable?
What do you think? Are you one of the 9/10 people who owns a pair of Jeans?
I am!! I have 3 pairs. In fact, it is what i like to wear almost everyday. Fits good, forms the Behind, comfy, and i don't need to wash it as often as any light colored pants.
Now its your turn to tell me the story of your pair of Jeans... the all-time Jeans!

You are absolutely right in your description of the common blue jeans, tigerlily1972.
Comfortable, fits good and, most important, quite durable compared to the other slacks/pants in your wardrobe. Unless you're a white-collar employee or perhaps a hotel employee or maybe a high-ranking officer of a company, you may be used to wearing those company uniforms or the more formal suit and tie. Nonetheless, these people surely may have a pair or two of the blue jeans to wear on their days off or on weekends. However, the great majority do have jeans for their daily attire simply because - you said it, its affordable, easily available, comfortable, less washing needed, and more: goes well with T's or any upper attire of any color and very durable.

Jeans to me are the ultimate. They look good, are comfy, they can be dressed up, or just wear a plain ole tee with them. Nothing better then bell bottoms but that's what I grew up in in the 70's. I'll wear jeans in my 80s. lol

it is very comfortable and it could match any color of shirts (the faded blue jeans) convenient... you can move without limitations, unlike with skirts.

I would probably say the material. Its something that can be worn in almost any kind of weather and holds nicely. I have a couple of pairs, but I can't fit into them, but I like them in the winter because I don't feel the cold as much.

Well, that's maybe because jeans can be matched with anything. It is convenient, and yes, it's comfortable. I have just 2 pairs of jeans and I like wearing it always, I can wear it with aything. I can match with any of my shirts.

Whoever invented stretch jeans was a life saver for middle aged ladies with tummies. lol I have several dozen pairs of jeans, but my favorites are the ones that come up at least to the waist and have a little bit of stretch...

If Jeans were food, I'd say they're staple food. It's common, it's generic, something we can't seem to live without. I, for one, am very dependent on jeans. I barely have skirts, or pedals, or shorts. For me, they're the most convenient and comfortable clothing I could ever wear on my waist down.

i think, since i love leggings, leotards, you know...i think people love jeans (i have 3 also) is because they say not everyone looks good in leggings, leotards or cycling shorts. am not really sure about that which i just overheard but paired with the right fitting top almost everyone can look good in leggings as they do in jeans. besides it is more comfy to move in and it doesn't take much space in packing. i guess it was the marketing success then that caught on that made jeans a classic.
