I've got a problem with my pc

i have a problem on my pc that i cannot find a solution although i have knowledge on minor troubleshooting... my problem is i cannot shutdown my pc... i'm going to click on shutdown the pc will restart... can anyone find a solution for this problem or what is the cause why everytime i click shutdown it will only restart the pc. i already format the pc but the problem is still the same

What operating system are you using? I guess there's really a problem in your Pc. Try to press hold the power button in your CPU to shutdown.

My operating is Windows XP SP2.. maybe it's not my OS that is the problem i got reformatted it when the problem begun.

oh its a very mysterious problem. you just take a test of your pc by just shutting down your pc in a different way. you do one thing. just go to the task manager and there you find the shut down button in menu and then press the turn off. see what happens. as i am not very sure about the problem but i could suggest you the hit and trial.

Hi, Try switching off the main power button, and if the problem still persists, hand it over to your enginneer. Thanks.
