I don't think I could, so I'll just move out if I were in the situation. But moving out isn't easy, so I 'll give this a shot - talk to her and ask her why she did that, and then tell her to never do it again. I don't mind people spreading stories about me so long as they're true, and unbiased. But if she's just trying to make me look bad , then that's another story. It's all about the intention. But you said it's "rumor", so the connotation there is negative. Anyway good luck to you in fixing your relationship with your roommate!

i dont like that kind of situation, maybe i will request to transfer to another room as where i can have a peace of mind. or whoever come first. like if i go first then perhaps i will tell my ladlord about it so they can do something that maybe transfer her or me to other room.
