I love my books to the limit that when i am reading i don't take calls and don't reply to messages. When i was a kid i even used to skip a meal because i didn't realize its dinner time or didn't want to leave my book. Now i love food a little more though so i don't skip meals at any cost. But still bookstores are my favorite shops in malls and markets. And I even make sure i call my date to meet me somewhere with a bookstore nearby so i can read if he's late. And i just stare at them if i pass by one like a kid whose seen a toy in a shop. :P I hope i find more people as obsessed with books as i am. Or more so. I don't want to be the only weird person in the world. :P :D

Books are extremely important to me! After my family (pets included) and my computer -- my books are the next thing I would save from a fire... I think books are things that should be taken good care of. Reading is one of my favorite past times, and like you, I can get totally lost in a book.

Amazon is your friend... I've got a huge wishlist that I buy from whenever I can afford it! I have to admit that it takes an extra special book for me to read to the end though!

I also love reading and books might be very expensive if you have to buy all of them. It's really difficult to afford it! But I noticed that in relation to the economical situation, many second hand shops are growing around where I am living and I already got second hand books for just 0,50€ and 1,00€ per book. And I also have friends reading a lot of books so what we do is to exchange them. Books I already read I change them for others. And some books can be downloaded from Internet for free and others for a low cost!

Books has their own importance. Books have been around for centuries but for much of that time they were not available to the common person. An author makes you notice, makes you pay attention, and this is a great gift. My gratitude for good writing is unbounded…I’ve read a large portion of Bird by Bird; it’s insightful, witty, and, at times, downright inspirational. Lamott has the rare and precious ability to put a pen in the hand, spectacles over the eyes, and patience in the feet.

I love books and reading and I can spend hours at the library or in bookstores. My husband and I usually go to the library together and when I say things like: "It will only take a minute" he just laughs, because he knows that I always spend more time there than I plan to. Me: "I just have to find one more book, No, wait I forgot something, just a moment", "Now I am ready to leave. Yes, I am coming, but there is just one more book that I need to find before we go", "Oh, I forgot, I need one more book, it will only take a minute"

I love books and spend most of my spare time and then some reading and talking about books online. One of the great things about the internet is that you can find others as crazy as you are, because even most of the nice people you meet day to day can take or leave books, they're not an obsession.

I'm quite obsessed with books too. I couldn't possibly stand going a day without reading at least 20 pages of a book. I've missed meals because I was reading before, and my favorite stores are bookstores. I like going into a new bookstore like Barns and Nobles and looking through all their wonderful hardcover books. Sometimes I wish I could just buy the whole store. So far I've read 33 books this year, and I'm hoping for at least 67 more.

Books are very important to me and I try to read every day. Also, every time I get a new book, I have a first look inside to the pages, photos and pictures (when it has got some) and I 'smell' the pages. I love the smell of the paper on a new book even if it's not a parfum!

I learned from the book "University of Success", compiled by Dean Og Mandino, and co-authored by so many experts in his time, that after college education, after that talkative professor in college stop talking to you and stop lecturing, after you have received your diploma, after that formal education, your learning as an individual should not stop there. It must be continued. It must go on and on, so you will not stagnate. If you will not innovate (reading new ideas and applying), if you will not innovate you will stagnate. Books can take the role of your professors. You can continue learning through books. Continuing education for life. Self-learning. Education for success. America's foremost business philosopher once said, "Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune."
