The Cowboy

From the moment I saw the photo of this wallhanging, I really fell for it. The simple lines & the elegance of the background are spellbinding. It is the photo that I use for the avatar for my quilting discussions. For those of you who don't know the piece by name, it's the one with the silhouette of the cowboy leaning against the left border of the quilt. It's in the photos for the quilting subject.....
Did someone on this group make the wallhanging? Or is it a photo of a quilt wallhanging that someone else saw & loved as much as I do?

I have not seen it but I know I am going to look at it as soon as I respond to you. I like all things cowboy especially silohouette! I like the cowboy sillohouette cutouts you can buy, those are pretty neat and make for good decor!

On the quilting group page, it's one of the photos that was uploaded. Really a striking pattern.

Yes I saw it and I thought it was neat. If you read the caption the person says they made it! Pretty creative!

I didn't see the caption. Now, I'm left to wonder if s/he made it from a pattern or from a kit .. or if s/he designed it.... I wouldn't have thought the busy pattern in the background would have looked so perfect with the plain silhouette of the cowboy & the fence.
