What is the best place for a vacation in your opinion?

I want to take my wife on a vacation this summer and I don't know where to take her. What would you consider to be the best place for a relaxing two weeks vacation away from every day big city routine?

beach holiday's aren't a better option nowadays as it is too hot over there. You may plan your vacation somewhere,where it is chilly and pleasant.IN my opinion,somewhere in the mountain region will be the best option. You may plan your vacations in Switzerland or in the Himalayas in India. Two weeks is a long time.I hope you will be having nice time ahead.

I was in Mallorca in September and it is quite nice. The weather is not as hot as during the Summer either.

Japan,Thailand,Dubai or Egypt.I find these places very nice.Hope you like my choices.

Good choices. However, the wife doesn't want to fly more than 3-4 hours, so probably Europe would be in the range. Egypt might, but there's a revolution going on :)
