I was just listening to a song about changing the world, and as a little kid you have all these HUGE dreams about changing the world. But, then as you grow up you start losing the faith that you can actually change the world. So, do you still believe you can change the world? I WANT to do something important, I'm just not sure WHAT it will be, or if ill be able to succeed. I think most people, like me, are just scared. Scared of the possibilities, scared of having to be a leader, scared and worried about the steps to get there, and scared of disappointment. I think we should all go back to how we thought as little kids, and stop feeling like we aren't important. I think each person if they want, can change the world and do something really great. We just need to become a leader and believe that we can.
Do you think you can?

It's not easy to change the world. There are lots of factors to do and contribute to our world. I guess i would tell you that instead of thinking to change the world we must do something to make this world a better world to live in. Each of us can make a difference in our own little ways. If we do positive things somehow we are contributing. Let's not be scared as long as what we do can never harm anybody. We are always here to try something new and learned from it. Explore the world and protect it while you do. Changing the world would always be a wish to everyone... changing it for the better... would be a dream, a dream that might come true, maybe someday. But i would tell you that let us live day to day and let us start now to do things that would protect our world and inspire everyone to make this world a better place for all of us.

I think that it is a great dream to continue to have. As you get older, people will tell you that you can't. If you start to believe it, then you never will.
I guess with that said, it's hard for one person to change the entire world. Only a few really big names come to mind--Jesus, Buddha. But, we can change the world in our little corners of the world then everyone working together changes the world.
Hope that makes sense. Don't ever give up on making a difference in the world!

Well, i think when we are young, we are so fresh in thoughts and mind. I had the same thoughts, to change the world from the superstious beliefs, corrupted people and fearful minds. But as i grew i thought all these are routed, which is not possible to eradicate. Now i see my kid talking about changing world!

If we devote our time in the service of others we could affect change.
My main motto ever since I was a kid was help those in need
These were things instilled in me by my mom
So far I've got a lot of friends and I always feel better after lending a helping hand.
Yes, I believe each one of us has the capability to change the world if we act a little selflessly everyday

Changing the world is not for you to do alone. We have to be altogether with God to be able to do this. Remember how God was in charge during Moses's time or Joseph's or David's? And just ilke that, God is in charge of this world. Moses or Joseph or David didn't change the world they're in themselves that but with the help of god. We dont have to carry the burden on our shoulders. There is God. There's no accident in this world. Everything that's happening is because God is telling us something. There wont be any changes unless we learn and do something from that experience. Im still positive because I know that God's will will be done.

I think you're right abbykulet, we must all take hand & hand inorder to change the world with God is in our side. We have to be a leader of our new generation, a new society. We must join in prayer that we overcome the changing of the world. Is it judgment day that we experience more destruction on Haiti, Chile and Tsuname? We must all stand to be a leader with God's presence so we can change & over come the world.

dear wigima5,
I think it is for each of us change the world..is something innate and natural..for better or for worse we all carry small or large changes..the fact that they are returning kids agree in part because I think the kids living life in a totally reckless in their everyday problems and learn to face life as adults.

we cant change the world if we dont have unity and if all people have their own perspective. maybe i can share by starting it with myself but it doesnt mean that i can change the entire world already. the world will change starting within ourselves but if other people will not going to do that then we cant do something about it. no leader can change the world with his words or actions if other people will stay the same and will not cooperate with it.

Well we may want to change the world. However, the world at large may not want that change. I mean, it is nice trying to do something worthwhile with all of the problems in this world today but is it really worth it in the end? Unfortunately, more often than not, trying to do something will not work as well as we had planned. Therefore, it might be a waste of time not trying.
The best we can do is trying to enrich our lives around us. Those of us and the people that we interact with on a day to day basis. In a way, we can change a small part of the world, if you look at that from a certain angle. Perhaps there could be bigger changes right now but thinking big can often times get a person crushed underneath the weight of the world.

Take the history and history always repeat....
one gandhi, one abraham lincon, one mao,and many...they all are oneor single they born like us the only difference is then acheived what they want we all are marching at the same place and thinking that the world is moving fast keeping ourself behind.Always think positive...everything goes with it,,the best is GOD..yes GOD means G-generating good or bad thought, O-organising the thought,D-destroying or dropping our plan.
so belive the best and have fulfaith.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
