The following was posted on Facebook by my daughter. I might add she is an open heart surgical nurse, works every day to support her family and on top of this was diagnosed several years ago with MS.
So they passed a health care plan - written by a committee whose Chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that exempts themselves from it, signed by a President who smokes, with the funding for it to be administered by a Treasury Chief who didn't bother to pay his taxes, and it is all to be overseen by a Surgeon Genersal who is obese ..... and better yet it is all to be financed and paid for by a country that is BROKE.
Please feel free to post this on any site where it will get the message across to many people. Thanks for your time.

Very true. But hey - your daughter has a pre-existing condition. She isn't for the bill? She is also a medical personnel. She isn't for the bill? Does she not know that Congress and our fearful leader says that these are the people that are for this bill? Did she not get the memo?

My sister, my brother in law and my dad are all medical personnel and they were all against this bill. They liked parts of it...but on the whole they did not like it. They all feel it does not go far enough in solving the problems in our healthcare in this nation.

Oh that...it was a dog and pony show...don't you know that.
A photo op and nothing more. Most of the doctors my family members work with ARE NOT happy about this bill.

Very true....which should show us all that we need to be more careful who we elect.
If this plan was sooo great...why did congress exempt themselves from it. If it is good enough for us..it is good enough for them too.
As for a the chairman not understanding it...he needs to find a new job..or they need to write better bills that EVERYONE can read and understand.

LIL, I don't know why they exempted themselves from this bill, it is very similar to their own plan (except for the military doctors that take care of all congressmen and women for a mere $500 a year).
I have tried to read many bills, and I can't do it. Ever try to read the Patriot Act? You have to be a lawyer to make heads or tails out of this.

Hello us2owls,
Very true, Very true and made it harder for students to get student loans for college so are short changeing our younger generation who will work and pay into the social security but if they cannot get into college then there pay will lower and social security taken out will be lower amount etc... chain reaction.
Yes, I think it is funny and sad about Obama smoking I would think his wife would be on case about that. Yes, about the Surgeon General is obese but I bet if has heart attack he would no problem on being covered about insurance.
My question is what about the Amish People do they have buy insurance since they do not beleive in our Government and what about the religious sector of people who do not beleive in the hospital or doctors because the beleive in God taking care of there sick children...?
