there are a lot of advantages in having a best friend. a best friend is a true friend. someone you can trust, someone you can share a lot of things with, even your feelings, and someone who trusts you in return. more than that, a best friend is always there for you. and, don't forget, there are things a best friend can give you which your family cannot...

I have finally found someong who will listen and not judge. He helps me put things in perspective. I am a recovering pessimist because of him. He was the first to see me , the real me and like what he saw.In return I give him all my support and I hep him out the best I can.So far I can't see any dangers. I guess if you pick a person who isn't trustworthy, that's when the porblems can start.

hello my new found online friend, ghie!
i think the most important thing in having one is that there's always someone beside you no matter what. be it good or bad situation, you know for yourself that the other person will always be there to support you in anyway. and of course, it is expected that you do the same. it feels good just by knowing you have a bestfriend. :)

We need someone to whom we can share each and everything which we can't share with our family members...and i think best friend is only persons to whom we can share...Yeah! if you make the mistakes to identify the real best friend then it might be deleterious for you..

Hello,
I have a best friend whom I love dearly. My best friend means the world to me and anyone who tells you that a best friend is not needed is lying. I never had a best friend before, and didn't realize what an impact it had on my life in more ways than I can count. I trust him with my life and would trade the filial bond I have with him for nothing on earth.
As for possible problems it would be unwise to believe that a best friend will never cause you grief. It is inevitable and unfortunate. But it is much more important to remember that a best friend is like family. Nothing should be able to split the two of you apart, and no matter the pain that person brings you, the pair of you will work through it together. As a team.
it is amazing to wake up in the morning and know that I have a best friend for the first time in my 14 years. High school has been an uphill battle and I would never have made it without the support of my best friend. I would have shut down for sure.
