Hi there!!
I can reformat and maintain my own computer, infact, im the one do assemble my machine. I bought parts by parts from different store. When i feel my computer running slow, i will reformat it immediately. I always forgot to make back up to easily restore the OS once i encountered a problem. I love collecting OS and i burn it either DVD or CD depends on the capacity. How about you guys, do you know how to reformat and maintain your own computer? or you as for service? Kindly share your comments.. Have a nice day!!! Happy mylotting...

yes, it's actually the easiest way to fix a problematic OS..
hardware, i can manage...but i usually go to a service center when the defective unit is the motherboard or the processor..else i can do it on my own..

Oh, you (and all who replied with a YES) are admirable!
I wish I could. I am not at all at your level with electronics. I have had many things go wrong with my computer, or slow down, and I always have to ask or hire somebody to work on it, which is so much trouble, so know that I don't do it enough.
Guys who answered YES, where did you learn??

You are kind to say that to me. It does sound like you did a lot to learn- from your friend helping you, reading tutorials, even watching videos! IMpressive. I would wish i could do that, but I don't think I'd have the attention and patience to learn all of that, along with time! I'd be also afraid I'd kill my computer and files.
But that's what we are thankful for- having people liek you who we can hire or ask for advice. :O0

Hi!
I learned by reading some tutorials and watching videos. I still remembered when my friend do reformatting his pc and i watched him, then i followed up by reading as i've said. You can do it if you really want, i know you can do it.
Have a nice day!!! Happy mylotting..

i am very experienced in troubleshooting any kind of problem hardware of software. And let me tell you reformatting is not the way to solve a problem, it is a way to avoid dealing with it.

Well, if the hardware is the problem, yes, this is not the way to solve by reformatting our computer. Reformatting can solve OS problem.
Thanks for the response.
